OneTalent is seeking an FP&A Analyst focused on Renewable Energy to support growth across Spain and Portugal. The role partners with Energy and Asset Management to optimize production, revenues, and market exposure while delivering data-driven insights.

The ideal candidate has 4-5 years in FP&A or related finance roles within renewables, strong Excel and Power BI skills, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid Madrid-based role with occasional travel.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor, analyze, and interpret large volumes of operational and financial data related to renewable energy generation assets.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes.
• Analyze market trends, energy prices, regulation changes, and their impact on revenues and business performance.
• Develop and improve dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools using Excel, Power BI, and internal systems.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and automation of reporting and analytical processes.
• Support critical business processes related to production, energy commercialization, hedging strategies, and revenue optimization.
• Work cross-functionally with FP&A, Asset Management, and Energy Management teams across Spain, Portugal, and Luxembourg.

We are looking for a FP&A Analyst | Renewable Energy for one of the leading renewable energy platforms in the Iberian market, focused on the development, management, and operation of wind and solar assets across Portugal and Spain.

The ideal candidate will bring experience from the renewable energy sector, with exposure to areas such as Energy Management, Asset Management, electricity markets, or revenue optimization activities.

The company currently manages a significant portfolio of renewable generation assets and is continuing its strong growth path, with new projects and additional assets expected to be incorporated in the coming years.

Operating in a highly dynamic and market-driven environment, they combine long-term sustainable growth with a strong focus on business performance, energy markets, and operational excellence.

Mission of the role

To support the continued growth across Spain and Portugal, we are looking for a FP&A Analyst to work closely with the Energy Management and Asset Management teams, supporting strategic and operational decision-making related to production, revenues, market exposure, and business performance.

This role combines financial analysis, business partnering, and data analytics in a highly dynamic environment.

The role will provide insights and analytical support to help understand market impacts, optimize decision-making, and support the company's growth strategy.

What we are looking for

• Around 4- 5 years of experience in FP&A roles, business partnering, business controlling, commercial finance, or similar.
• Previous experience within the renewable energy sector.
• Experience analyzing market impacts, pricing dynamics, regulation, and revenue evolution.
• Strong analytical and technical skills, with experience handling large datasets.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI.
• Experience with financial planning and performance analysis tools is a plus (e.g., OneStream).
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Communication skills and business orientation.
• Business understanding and critical thinking.
• Ability to connect data, business context, and strategic implications.
• Collaborative and agile mindset.
