Job summary

Eleva AI in Barcelona seeks a Founding Full Stack AI Product Engineer to design and ship end-to-end AI-powered experiences for venues. You’ll own database, agent orchestration, APIs, integrations, admin console and deployment, delivering production-grade features used by live visitors.

You’ll work AI-native every day, build with Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, TypeScript and React, and have real ownership with phantom equity as the company scales globally from day one.

Eleva AI is the AI agent operating system for physical venues: shopping centers, outlets, retail parks, airports, stadiums and leisure destinations.

85% of consumer spending still happens offline, yet these places have no intelligent digital layer to talk to their visitors, sell to them and learn from them. We're building it. Our AI agents talk to visitors on web, QR, WhatsApp, apps and even phone calls, and our admin console turns every conversation into service, revenue and data for the operator.

We're already live in some of Europe's leading shopping destinations and working with major retail real estate groups across Spain, Italy, Portugal and the Middle East. The category is brand new, and we intend to own it worldwide.

We're hiring a Founding Full Stack AI Product Engineer: one of the first engineers of Eleva and part of the founding staff.

This is not a job, it's a seat at the table. You'll build end-to-end: from the database and the agent orchestration to the APIs, integrations, admin console and deployment. What you build goes straight into production and is used every day by real visitors in live venues.

AI is not only what we build, it's how we build. You'll work AI-native every single day: coding agents, LLMs and automation are part of your workflow, so one person ships what used to take a whole team.

We don't care about the "Senior" title. We care about hunger, speed and ownership. We're looking for someone who wants to grow with the company, become one of its most important people and, as we scale, lead the engineering team that takes Eleva global.

That's why this role comes with a very significant phantom share package: a real stake in what we're building, not a token one.

• The multi-agent platform: LLM orchestration, tool calling, RAG over each venue's catalog, memory and guardrails.
• Every channel: web widget, WhatsApp Business API, QR, apps and a voice agent that answers the venue's phone calls like a person.
• The admin console: campaigns, segments, WhatsApp templates, and AI agents that take actions for the operator.
• The Data Core: conversation analytics, intent, CSAT and the insights operators use to make decisions.
• Integrations with the venue ecosystem: maps and wayfinding, loyalty and CRM, gift cards, parking, ticketing, bookings.
• The next agents: asset management, review analysis, competitor analysis and operations.
• The foundations: architecture, security, observability, CI/CD and reliability.
• Backend: Python (FastAPI), PostgreSQL, REST APIs, workers and webhooks
• AI: LLM APIs, agents and tool calling, RAG, embeddings, Qdrant
• Frontend: TypeScript and React
• Integrations: WhatsApp Business API, OAuth, third-party APIs
• Really strong backend: Python, SQL and APIs are your home.
• You have shipped real products to production and you're probably already doing well in your current job.
• You can move across the stack and are comfortable with TypeScript and React.
• Hands-on with LLMs: you've built something with agents, tool calling, RAG or embeddings (side projects count).
• AI-native in your day-to-day: you code with AI agents (Claude Code, Cursor or similar), automate everything you can and always test the latest models and tools.
• You've owned something end-to-end and you're as much a product person as an engineer.
• You take decisions, defend them and ship. Fast.
• You're very ambitious and want to build something that matters worldwide, not a feature in a big company.
• You want real weight in a company: your decisions shape the product, the architecture and the culture.
• You want to grow fast, from founding engineer to leading the engineering team.
