Jobtraffic is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to design, implement, and deploy AI-driven workflows for enterprise clients. The role focuses on building production-grade Python backends and integrating AI systems directly into client environments.

You will own the architecture from design to production, deploying scalable microservices and containers, and collaborating with product and client teams to deliver impactful AI-powered solutions.

Qualifications

We're supporting one of our clients (an AI-native product company) in hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to work at the intersection of engineering, AI systems, clients & product and enterprise deployments. This is not a traditional backend role. It's for engineers who want to build, ship, and deploy AI-powered systems directly into real client environments, fast.

The Role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll work closely with enterprise customers to design, implement, and deploy AI-driven workflows powered by LLMs and agent-based systems. You'll take ownership from architecture to production. This includes:

• Designing backend architectures in Python (FastAPI-heavy stack)
• Integrating AI systems (LLMs, RAG pipelines, structured outputs)
• Building APIs and microservices for client-specific workflows
• Deploying scalable, containerized services (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Debugging production issues and improving system reliability
• Translating business requirements into clean technical solutions

You won't just ship code — you'll see it live, used, and scaled.
