CoberonChronos is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to solve high-impact AI problems alongside enterprise customers, owning work from first principles to production outcomes. You will work directly with customers to understand critical workflows, design AI-driven solutions, and deploy agents that operate reliably in production, owning projects end-to-end and driving measurable business impact.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in technical problem-solving roles.
• Experience leading or contributing to solution scoping, discovery workshops, or AI strategy with sales, product, or deployment teams.
• Strong fundamentals in software design and system design.
• Clear communication and a strong ownership mindset.
• High-agency mindset; ability to create clarity, propose direction, and drive decisions.
• Experience working across systems, integrations, and data flows.
• Comfort working directly with customers and owning ambiguous problems.

The Role

Our client is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to solve high-impact, real-world problems alongside enterprise customers, owning work from first principles through to production outcomes.

You will work directly and in person with customers to understand critical workflows, design AI-driven solutions, and deploy agents that operate reliably in production. You will own projects end-to-end — from problem definition and system design through to launch and iteration — and be accountable for real business impact.

This is a hands-on generalist role for engineers who enjoy navigating ambiguity, learning quickly, and working across systems while partnering with enterprises on their AI transformation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in technical problem-solving roles
• Experience leading or contributing to solution scoping, discovery workshops, or early-stage AI/technical strategy in collaboration with sales, product, or deployment teams
• Strong fundamentals in software design and system design
• Clear communication skills and a strong ownership mindset
• High-agency mindset: you don't wait for perfect requirements and are comfortable creating clarity, proposing direction, and driving decisions
• Experience working across systems, integrations, and data flows
• Comfort working directly with customers and owning ambiguous problems
• Curiosity and interest in building AI-powered systems that work in practice

Nice to Have

• Experience in forward-deployed, solutions engineering, or customer-facing roles
• Exposure to AI agents, automation, or conversational systems

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
