Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Madrid Getafe is seeking a Flight Test Ground Station Software Developer to join the Flight Test Ground Station Department. You will develop software for ground systems, work on test frameworks, and drive evolution of software architectures across multinational teams, with a focus on cloud-ready and on-premise solutions.

The role requires at least 4 years of relevant experience, an engineering degree, and proficiency in C++, Python, and Java/C#.

Qualifications

At least 4 years of professional experience in a similar position.
Experience developing agile software and high-performance software.
Proficient in C++, Python, .NET (C#) and JAVA.
English professional level is required.
Entrepreneurial spirit with good communication and negotiation skills.
Experience working in multinational, multicultural teams and ability to adapt to new software architectures.
Familiarity with CI/CD environments and cloud/on-premise transitions.

Responsibilities

Develop software applications for Flight Test Ground Station and test frameworks.
Web-based development of new software architectures including cloud-based applications.
Architect and design future evolution of the software and coordinate activities transnationally.
Coordinate with Flight Test Means Integrator and Test Center Integrator.
Participate in activities related to development, product ownership and final customers.
Create a development framework to evolve software configurations for new equipment and requirements.
