Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe (Madrid) is seeking a Flight Physics PMTD Leader to drive the PMTD portfolio within the Flight Physics domain. You will lead process, methods and tools development and coordinate with international teams to push digitalization and advanced technologies across the program.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in programming & data science in development and engineering areas.
• Experience on Flight Physics and overall aircraft development process and engineering activities.
• Experience in managing projects in a complex and international environment.
• Advanced English and Spanish written and spoken.
• PMP or other project management accreditation would be a plus.
• Python and C++ and state-of-the-art data science and AI frameworks are a plus.
• Experience with front-end and database development would be a plus.
• CFD & FEM would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Flight Physics Process, Methods, Tools and Data (PMTD) portfolio for a specific program.
• Ensure CoC deliveries are on time, cost and quality.
• Drive the PMTD process convergence and manage gaps and needs.
• Lead the PMTD Integrated Product Team (IPT) - Flight Physics.
• Coordinate digital transformation of Flight Physics with TAXD, Digital and TADX.
• Develop integrated solutions to support end-to-end processes digitalization.
• Develop, prove, validate and deploy disruptive solutions in flight physics.
