Port.io is seeking a FinOps Engineer to improve visibility and accountability for cloud spend across its R&D organization. The role focuses on identifying cost issues, validating them with data, and collaborating with the right teams to resolve them.

You will work closely with engineering, DevOps, R&D leadership, and Finance to explain cost trends, support forecasting, and help leadership make informed decisions.

Formación

• 5+ years of FinOps engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of cloud billing models (compute, storage, data transfer, managed services).
• Ability to interpret cost breakdowns and ask informed questions.
• Strong business and financial acumen including budgeting, trend analysis, ROI framing, data storytelling.
• Experience with cost management/observability tools (AWS Cost Explorer, DoiT).
• Experience owning recurring leadership-facing deliverables (reporting/forecasting).
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills.
• Fluency in Hebrew and English.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor cloud spend to identify inefficiencies, anomalies, and cost trends.
• Investigate cost drivers with engineering and DevOps to understand cost drivers.
• Translate spend data into business terms for leadership and finance.
• Maintain leadership-facing reporting on cost trends, savings, risks, and direction.
• Support vendor and cloud account reviews and negotiations.
• Help implement tagging, budgeting, and cost-allocation practices.
