Job summary

FinOps Weekly is seeking a dedicated FinOps professional to drive cloud financial management for a key product family. You will partner with product and technical teams to optimize cloud spend while preserving reliability and performance, and you will help spread FinOps best practices across stakeholders.

The role focuses on governance, visibility, and data-driven decision-making, with responsibilities spanning budgeting, forecasting, and multi-domain FinOps implementations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in cloud operations and/or financial management.
• Familiarity with cloud-based architectures.
• Familiarity with cloud provider tools.
• Experience with financial systems and processes for budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.
• Solid understanding of cloud-based application architectures.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-related data, both technical and financial, for usage analysis, optimization, resource allocation, and operational troubleshooting.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage cloud financial management practices, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.
• Define and implement financial policies and controls for cloud operations.
• Monitor and report on cloud usage, costs, and performance.
• Partner with product and technical teams to improve cloud efficiency while maintaining reliability and performance.
• Design and operate a holistic FinOps framework supporting multi-domain governance, innovation, decision‑making efficiency, and usage optimization.
• Promote best practices in cloud financial management across department stakeholders.
