Sapiens International Corporation in Madrid is seeking a Junior Financial Controller to join the Finance Team responsible for finance control across Spain, Portugal and Colombia subsidiaries based in Madrid.

You will collaborate with colleagues from multiple departments and support month-end closes, audits, and reporting under time pressure, ensuring accuracy and compliance in a fast‑growing software group.

Formación

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Administration, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in finance.
• Fluent in English.
• Good analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Teamwork and excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of SBO (SAP Business One) and Power BI valued.

Job Description of position:

As Junior Financial Controller you will be part of the Finance Team responsible for the finance control of our Spain, Portugal and Colombia subsidiaries based in our Madrid offices. You will need to have ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different departments and capability to work effectively under pressure.

Job Duties:

• Vendor Control and AP accounting
• Bank accounting and reconciliations
• Fixed Assets registration and depreciation
• Monthly closing, controlling and reporting
• Participate in preparing materials for the auditors and assist the auditors in the audit process.

Ideal and minimum requirements, including technologies and versions if necessary:

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Administration, Economics, or any related field
• Have a minimum of 1 year experience in finance area
• Fluent in English
• Good analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Teamwork and excellent communication skills
• Although not required, knowledge of SBO (SAP Business One) and Power BI will be valued.
