Destinus is seeking a Financial Accounting Intern to gain hands-on experience across European entities within a fast-growing aerospace and defense group. You will support day-to-day finance operations, from invoicing and bank reconciliations to month-end reporting and audits, in a dynamic, international environment.

• Pursuing or completed degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills; bilingual English/Spanish proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Process incoming/outgoing invoices and record bank transactions.
• Respond to accounting queries from suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable reports.
• Support project management, procurement and other departments with finance requests.
• Process intercompany transactions and assist reconciliations.
• Support VAT and Intrastat reporting under guidance of seniors.
• Assist weekly/monthly management reporting and month-end closing.
• Assist internal and external audit preparations and maintain financial records.
• Contribute to process improvements and finance team projects.

What You'll Do

• Support the processing of incoming and outgoing invoices and assist with recording bank transactions
• Help respond to accounting-related queries from suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders
• Assist in preparing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable reports
• Support project management, procurement, and other departments with finance-related requests

Requirements

What You'll Need

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field

• Previous internship, university project, or academic exposure to accounting or finance is a plus, but not required

• Basic understanding of accounting principles

• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills

• Familiarity with ERP systems or finance tools is beneficial but not essential

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

• Good organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment

• Strong communication skills in English (C1 minimum) and Spanish

• Availability for a full-time internship of 6-8 months
