Dialog is seeking a Finance & Strategy Intern to own the financial backbone across France, Spain and the US. You will build consolidated reporting, automate finance processes with AI, and support the 2027 budget and investor relations.

You will report to the Chief of Staff and help keep the three entities financially aligned while driving efficiency in reporting, budgeting, and HR/admin processes.

Responsabilidades

• Build a real multi-entity reporting across three entities (France, Spain, US).
• Design and run monthly consolidated reporting: P&L, cash, MRR/ARR, burn, runway; close within 5 days; explain variances.
• Own pre-accounting end-to-end: invoices, supporting docs, bank recs, liaise with accountants in each country; manage intra-group re-invoicing.
• Automate repetitive finance/admin tasks using AI and no-code/low-code tools; quantify time saved.
• Prepare 2027 budget and update business plan with scenarios (base/conservative/aggressive).
• Support investor relations and board prep: data room, materials, due diligence answers if fundraising.
• Structure HR/admin processes: contracts, onboarding, expenses, payroll interfaces across three entities.

We wrote the first line of code in January 2024, started commercializing in September 2024 and now serve more than 400 paying customers. We operate three entities ---
France, Spain and the United States --- and we are scaling all three at once.

Mission

As our Finance & Strategy Intern, you will own the financial backbone of a company that runs across three countries. You will build and run the consolidated reporting for our French, Spanish and US entities, industrialise the financial and administrative processes that keep them clean, and support the leadership team on the strategic work that comes with growth: the 2027 budget, the business plan, board preparation, investor relations.

This is a finance-heavy role, not a generalist ops internship. You report directly to our Chief of Staff

Typical time allocation:

• 40% -- Reporting, consolidation and financial processes across the three entities
• 25% -- Budget 2027, business plan and financial modelling
• 20% -- AI-driven automation of low value-added finance and admin work
• 15% -- Investor relations, board preparation and HR / administrative topics

What you will do

1. Build a real multi-entity reporting
2. Design and run the monthly consolidated reporting across France, Spain and the US: P&L, cash, MRR/ARR, burn and runway. Close the month within 5 days, reconcile the numbers, run the consistency checks, and explain actual vs budget variances line by line.
3. Make our financial processes actually work
4. Own pre-accounting end to end: supplier and customer invoices, supporting documents, bank reconciliations, and the relationship with our accountants in each country. Handle intra-group re-invoicing between France, Spain and the US in line with our transfer pricing approach. Maintain a single calendar of accounting, tax and payroll deadlines for the three entities --- and document all of it so it survives you.
5. Automate everything that does not deserve a human
6. A meaningful share of finance and admin work here is repetitive. We are building AI-first processes internally, and you will be a driving force: identify the repetitive tasks, quantify them, and build concrete automations with Claude and our internal tooling (reconciliations, invoice data extraction, reporting preparation, follow-ups). We measure this in hours given back to the team.
7. Prepare the 2027 budget and keep the business plan alive
8. Build the 2027 budget with the leadership team: payroll, hiring plan, tools, marketing, legal, US expansion. Keep the business plan and its assumptions up to date, run base / conservative / aggressive scenarios, with and without a fundraise, and make the model usable by non-finance people.
9. Support investor relations and board preparation
10. Prepare board decks and investor reporting, keep the KPIs consistent across everything we communicate, and --- if we go for it --- contribute to a fundraise: data room, materials, business case, due diligence answers.
11. Structure HR and administrative processes
12. Contracts, administrative onboarding, expense management, interfaces with our French and Spanish payroll providers, and the transverse processes that do not exist yet.

Requirements

• Experience (non-negotiable): at least 6 months in corporate finance, transaction services, private equity or venture capital, in an analytical and strategic role. You have already produced financial deliverables that a decision-maker actually used: a reporting pack, a model, a business case, an investment memo. A purely operational, marketing or sales internship will not qualify.
• Education: business school, engineering school or university, with a solid finance foundation. Internship or end-of-studies internship, 4 to 6 months, starting as soon as possible.
• **Technical skills:**Advanced Excel / Google Sheets: you build clean models with isolated assumptions and formulas someone else can read
• You are comfortable with a P&L, a cash flow plan, MRR/ARR mechanics, burn and runway
• Enough accounting literacy to hold a conversation with an accountant: general ledger, reconciliations, accruals
• Multi-entity consolidation and intra-group flows are not abstract to you
• AI fluency (strongly weighted): you already use AI daily on real work, not just to write. You can describe at least one automation you built and the time it saved. Your reflex is to automate rather than repeat. Comfort with no-code / low-code tools is a plus, light scripting even more so.
• **Soft skills:**Rigour: you do not ship a number you have not checked
• Ownership: you close topics without being chased, and flag blockers early
• Clarity: you can explain a financial analysis to someone who is not a finance person
• Comfort with early-stage chaos: processes here often do not exist yet, you build them
• English: B2 minimum. Our working environment is international, with US and Spanish counterparts. French is a strong plus given our accounting and legal footprint.
