Freenow by Lyft is seeking a Finance Manager to join the consolidation team. You will drive the preparation of group financial statements under IFRS/US GAAP, review subsidiaries' packs, and manage intercompany eliminations. You will interact with auditors and drive policy updates across the group.

The role requires 2–5 years in group accounting, strong Excel and ERP knowledge, and fluent English. Flexible/hybrid work options are available and you will be part of a dynamic, international finance

Formación

• Degree in economics or equivalent commercial education with focus on financial accounting.
• 2–5 years of professional experience in group accounting (consolidation).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP with numerical rigor.
• Proficient Excel and ERP systems; familiarity with BusinessCentral/Tagetik/Oracle is a plus.
• Business fluency in English is required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare reporting packages and group financial statements (IFRS/US GAAP).
• Review monthly reporting from international subsidiaries and intercompany eliminations.
• Create monthly consolidation journal entries and maintain the consolidation tool.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process for the group.
• Implement IFRS/US GAAP changes according to policy and participate in ad hoc projects.

Location : Hamburg, Berlin or Barcelona

We are looking for a Finance Manager to support our consolidation team. In this role, you will be at the heart of our financial reporting processes, supporting group consolidation and ensuring compliance with international accounting standards. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external auditors, playing a key role in shaping the quality and integrity of our financial reporting. YOUR DAILY ADVENTURES WILL INCLUDE:

• Preparing the reporting packages and group financial statements according to IFRS/US GAAP including cash flow, notes and management report
• Reviewing monthly reporting packages provided by international subsidiaries on your own responsibility
• Reviewing intercompany elimination on a monthly basis
• Preparing monthly journal entries for consolidation purposes
• Administering, developing and improving the accuracy of the Consolidation Tool
• Liaising with external auditors and managing the audit process for the group and our international subsidiaries
• Implementing and updating IFRS and US GAAP standards in line with the group accounting policy
• Supporting with ad hoc projects / topics in coordination with accounting and controlling

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

• You have successfully completed a degree in economics or have completed acommercial education with a qualifying training / further education with focus onfinancial accounting
• 2-5 years of professional experience in group accounting (consolidation)
• You have a good knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP, an analytical mindset and a strongunderstanding of numbers
• You have very good MS Office skills, especially in MS Excel, knowledge of BusinessCentral/Tagetik/Oracle ERP and FCCS would be an advantage
• Business fluency in English
