Stark Future SL is offering a paid Finance/ Treasury internship based in Sant Boi, Barcelona. You will support daily cash operations, reconciliation, and payment runs while learning the end-to-end cash cycle from the Finance team.

You will help build rolling forecasts, track FX exposures, and assist with banking administration, onboarding new accounts, and reporting improvements. Fluency in English is required; Spanish helps with local banks.

Formación

• Pursuing or recently finished a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Interest in treasury, cash management, banking or capital markets specifically.
• Strong Excel; you can build a forecast model and explain every cell in it.
• Comfortable with routine done well; treasury rewards careful daily checks.
• Strong written and spoken English; Spanish is useful for dealing with local banks.

Responsabilidades

• Daily cash operations: reconcile bank statements, prepare the daily cash position, investigate unidentified receipts/payments, and assist with payment runs.
• Forecasting and reporting: maintain rolling cash flow forecast, update with actuals, support weekly liquidity reporting, monitor FX exposures.
• Banking administration and improvement: keep bank accounts records, onboard new bank accounts, help automate weekly reporting.

The Role

A manufacturer scaling at our pace pays suppliers in several currencies, collects from dealers and distributors across continents, and has to know exactly where its cash is every morning. Treasury is where that happens.

As Finance Intern, Treasury, you support the daily cash cycle: positioning, reconciliation, payment preparation, and the forecast that tells the business what it can commit to. This is the operational heartbeat of Finance, and one of the fastest ways to understand how a company actually works.

You will be mentored by the Finance team and work alongside Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Accounting. The work is routine in rhythm and never routine in content, because the exceptions are where the learning is.

What You’ll Do

Daily cash operations

• Download and reconcile bank statements across our accounts and entities, and prepare the daily cash position.
• Investigate unidentified receipts and payments, and chase them to a clean explanation.
• Help prepare and check payment runs before release, applying the controls that protect them.

Forecasting and reporting

• Maintain the rolling cash flow forecast, updating it with actuals and flagging where reality has diverged from the plan.
• Help build the weekly liquidity reporting pack used by Finance leadership.
• Track FX exposures and support the monitoring of currency positions.

Banking administration and improvement

• Keep bank account records, mandates and signatory documentation accurate and current.
• Support the onboarding of new bank accounts and banking portals as entities are added.
• Help automate the reporting that is still assembled by hand each week.

What you will bring to Stark

• Studying towards, or recently finished, a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Interest in treasury, cash management, banking or capital markets specifically.
• Strong Excel. You can build a forecast model and explain every cell in it.
• Comfortable with routine done well. Treasury rewards people who do the same checks carefully every single day.
• Discretion. You will see payment and banking information, and it stays inside the team.
• Strong written and spoken English. Spanish is useful for dealing with local banks.
• Available to work on‑site in Sant Boi, Barcelona.

Nice to have

• Exposure to an ERP, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, or to a banking platform.
• Coursework or a prior internship touching cash management, FX or financial modelling.
• Any experience automating a spreadsheet process, whether with Power Query, macros or scripts.
• An interest in motorcycles, motorsport or the energy transition.
