Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking a Data Science intern to join the Finance EMEA team in Madrid, working on building the AI and Data Science vision from scratch. The role involves forecasting, data governance, and applying Generative AI to drive business value in a hybrid Madrid setting.

You will analyze forecasting methods, implement models with Python and cloud tools, and contribute to documentation and knowledge dissemination within a fast-growing, international environment.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in data science, data engineering, computer science, mathematics, engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Analyze forecasting results with robust accuracy assessments.
• Understand forecasting methodologies including Python code and Cloud architecture.
• Develop forecasting models using DarTS, statsforecast, skforecast, sklearn.
• Explore datasets to extract value by asking insightful questions.
• Collaborate to improve data quality and governance.
• Create high-quality documentation.
• Experiment with Generative AI tools for business value.
• Produce educational content on AI and data science.
