Maersk is seeking a Financial Controlling & Reporting Manager in Madrid to lead the accuracy and integrity of financial information and strengthen controls and governance across the function.

You will head monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages, drive forecasting and budgeting, and partner with stakeholders to support strategic decisions while developing a high-performing finance team in a multinational environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Significant experience in financial control, reporting, accounting, audit, or finance business partnering.
• Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and talent development.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Deep understanding of financial controls, accounting principles, financial reporting, and business performance management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across different levels of the organization.
• Experience working in a complex, multinational, and matrix environment is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records, reporting, and disclosures.
• Oversee the preparation and timely delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages.
• Maintain and strengthen financial control frameworks, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
• Review and analyze financial statements, statements of profit and loss, balance sheets, cash flow, and key metrics.
• Lead financial consolidation activities and ensure consistency and quality of reported information.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling activities to enable informed decisions.
• Identify financial risks and mitigate to safeguard performance.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Partner with stakeholders to drive performance and efficiency within processes.
