About the Role

In this role, you will help shape and execute Uber’s Field Support Operations (FSO) strategy to scale Autonomous Vehicle (AV) deployment across our platform. Collaborating with AV tech partners, local operators, product teams, and regulatory bodies, you will build and manage rapid-response protocols for in-field incidents. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on operational leader with strong technical aptitude and exceptional stakeholder management skills. You are comfortable traveling to emerging AV markets, thrive in ambiguity, and possess a track record of scaling zero‑to‑one operational processes in high‑growth environments.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead our FSO partners through scaling rapid response supply, and support ongoing operations in your region with cross‑functional partners

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Operations Management or Program Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• AV Operations experience
• Ability to travel internationally up to 50% to support a field presence
• Highly structured, organized, and detail‑oriented approach to work
• Proven ability to thrive in dynamic, ambiguous environments with a hands‑on, startup‑like approach
• Strong operational skills: staffing, training, field response dispatching and positioning, SOP adherence
• Clear communicator, with the ability to synthesize a lot of information quickly, highlight the key takeaways, and disseminate actionable insights
• Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
• Possess experience in launching new products or services in existing/new markets
• Self‑starter who thrives in an environment of responsibility and independence, making smart judgements despite ambiguity
• Track record of successful project development and implementation through principled execution, an understanding of operational factors, and their impacts on unit economics
• Excellent partner management
• Data‑driven decision‑making mentality, sound business judgment, and the ability to back your analysis up with relevant analytical thinking
