ABB busca un/a Técnico de Servicio de Campo para liderar la puesta en marcha, mantenimiento preventivo y resolución de problemas de drives y sistemas de control en plantas de Metales y Papel. Trabajarás con equipos locales e internacionales para entregar soluciones a clientes, con disponibilidad para viajar y cumplir con las normas de seguridad.

Sevilla, España, forma parte de la División de Automatización de Procesos Industriales.

Formación

• CFGS o estudios universitarios en Electricidad, Electrónica o Automatización.
• Liderazgo seguro y ético con comprensión de seguridad funcional.
• Español nativo o alto; inglés competente.

Responsabilidades

• Realizar tareas de servicio de campo con energía baja a media según instrucciones de trabajo.
• Atender servicio de guardias según contrato del cliente; al menos una semana cada dos semanas.
• Trabajar horarios flexibles, fines de semana y días festivos según necesidad del cliente.
• Posibilidad de viajes nacionales ~60–80% para puesta en marcha y mantenimiento.
• Colaborar con gerentes de proyecto, ventas, clientes e ingeniería en múltiples ubicaciones.

Service Team Leader

Your Role And Responsibilities

In the role as a Field Service Technician, you will be assuming responsibility for the programming, engineering, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of ABB industrial Drives and control-systems in Metals and Pulp and Paper Plants. You will be part of a local and collaborate with international project team providing solutions to our clients.

As a Field Service Technician, you will execute service work with low to medium complexity according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. You must take on-call service according to customer contracts, at least one complete week every three weeks. During the week of on-call service, 24h total availability to go home customer to solve the problems.

This role is contributing to the Automation Process Industries Division in Sevilla, Spain.

Work Model

• As Field Service Technician, you will performance service tasks like commissioning and preventive and corrective maintenance of AC&DC Drives and Control systems.
• Service Technical Support: Take on-call service according customer contracts, at least one complete week every two weeks. During the week of on-call service, 24h availability to travel and attend customer’s corrective maintenance.
• Availability and Flexibility: Adapt work time to customer needs, that means working when required extra hours during weekends or public holidays.
• Willingness to travel (~60% -80% ): for commissioning and service activities, mainly domestic travel.
• Interacting and collaborating with project managers, sales, customers, and engineering peers across multiple locations.
• Consulting and advising customers on the best service solutions in accordance with standard processes, procedures and safety guidelines.
• Troubleshooting simple equipment failure and making recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future.
• Identifying opportunities to develop new service applications, equipment and methods

Qualifications For The Role

• CFGS or University studies (Electricity, Electronic or Automation) and more than 2 years in jobs like: commissioning, maintenance, technical assistance.
• Safe and ethical leadership attitude; good understanding of functional safety standards and project practices.
• Spoken and written Spanish native or high level.
• Good command of English, additional language skills are welcome.
• Leadership and Initiative and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Available to travel and adjust working hours.
• Valid driving license for Spain are required.
