ESAB Corporation in Barcelona, Spain, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and repair welding and cutting equipment at customer sites. You will serve as a trusted partner, identifying opportunities, supporting sales with technical expertise, and contributing to continuous improvement.

The role requires a technical diploma or degree, a minimum of 5 years in technical service for industrial equipment, strong troubleshooting and stakeholder management, and fluency in Spanish

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical service, maintenance, or after-sales support of industrial equipment.
• Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted customer relationships.
• Professional working proficiency in Spanish and English.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the region as required.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Install, commission, and repair equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance, safety checks, and evaluations.
• Support the sales team with technical expertise and advice.
• Document service visits and report non-conformities.
• Build strong customer relationships and identify new opportunities.
• Use digital platforms to enhance diagnostics and reporting.
• Support the implementation of remote services and new tools.
• Contribute to service process improvements and technical feedback.
