Descripción del empleo

The Field Service Engineer provides on-site service including preventative maintenance, calibration, installation, and training across all product lines. The position is also responsible for providing scientific and/or technical assistance to customers as well as identifying and forwarding sales opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Providing technical support to customers via telephone and email.
• Performing on-site troubleshooting, service and repairsin assigned area (northeast)
• Evaluating malfunctioning instruments and preparing estimates for the cost of repair.
• Performing factory calibrations (ISO 17025, if required).
• Providing on-site training to the customerson proper use and maintenance of Anton Paar Instruments.
• Completing administrative tasks associated with the CRM Service module as to log all Support Ticket and Service Orders in the CRM Service.
• Taking responsibility for personal warehouse / stock.
• Forwarding sales opportunities to Sales Representatives when instruments need to be replaced.
• Attending all necessary Anton Paar service trainings for the relevant product lines.
• This position requires up to70% overnight travel within Spain.

Your profile:

• 0-2years experience in troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining analytical instruments.
• This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electric or Mechanical Engineering or another technical discipline.
• Ability to work with electronic schematics, test equipment, and repair tools.
• Good communication skills and strong customer service skills are a must for this position.
• Ability to work independently and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Proactive, responsible and organized behaviour.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license and passport .
