Job summary

Intertek is seeking an Electrical & Mechanical Inspector to support field activities on industrial and energy projects. The role involves on-site inspection and quality surveillance during installation and construction phases to ensure compliance with project specifications and codes.

The inspector will review documentation, perform field inspections, manage notifications and punch lists, and support ITP/QCP implementation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical, instrumentation and mechanical inspections in field settings.
• Strong understanding of quality processes, inspection notifications and punch lists.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3, API 6D and NFPA 70 / NEC is beneficial.
• Experience with module construction projects is highly valued.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Review technical documentation related to electrical, instrumentation and mechanical installations.
• Perform field inspections and surveillance during installation and construction phases.
• Manage inspection notifications, punch lists and quality control plans.
• Collaborate with project teams, contractors and clients to ensure safe, compliant execution.
