Job summary

AMETEK Barcelona (FARO CREAFORM) is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to act as the technical expert for customers and internal teams. You will support account managers with product demonstrations, create tailored demonstration workflows, and deliver training and aftersales support across sites and remote sessions.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering background, strong CAD skills, and fluency in English, with up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

BS Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
Excellent understanding of 2D and 3D CAD.
Ability to read and interpret information from blueprints.
Clear oral and written communications.
Good language competencies; English required.
Interpersonal and team skills.

Responsibilities

Act as resident technical and subject matter expert for customers and internal teams.
Support Account Managers with product demonstrations and solution walkthroughs.
Create demonstration workflows to ensure consistent messaging.
Provide training and technical support on FARO CREAFORM products at customer sites, via web, or remotely.
Deliver aftersales application support and advise on techniques to achieve expected results.
Collaborate with Sales, Product Marketing and R&D to respond to customer requirements.
Act as backup for higher level support and represent the product at events.
