Job summary

Ebury is seeking an FCC Escalations Analyst in our Malaga office on a hybrid schedule. You will join the Financial Crime Compliance team and handle internal SARs and investigations with time-sensitive deadlines.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years in financial crime investigations, experience with tools like Orbis and LexisNexis, and strong reporting skills. Fluency in English is essential; Spanish is a plus. Competitive salary and mentorship are offered.

FCC Analyst - Escalations

Ebury Malaga Office - Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home per week

As an FCC Escalations analyst, you will work in the Financial Crime Compliance department in the firm’s Malaga office.

What You’ll Do

• Minimum 2 years of Investigative experience (Financial Crime Investigations experience ideal but not essential).
• Experience using investigative tools, such as Orbis, LexisNexis, and open source resources.
• Experience identifying and investigating red flag issues, including litigation, political exposure and corruption.
• Experience writing high-quality and thorough investigative reports, with the ability to defend and explain findings.
• Must be able to work well under pressure and be proactive in completing investigations under time-sensitive conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, allowing the candidate to identify financial crime risks and address them accordingly.
• High competency in Microsoft Office suite and Google Docs software (desired).
• Candidate should be fluent in English (Spanish is desirable).
