Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Toulouse leads a new team within the Military Derivatives department of Air Power. We seek a Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Engineer to analyze metallic and composite structures, write stress dossiers, and coordinate justification approaches.

Required 3+ years in FDT, strong English and Spanish, and familiarity with Airbus calculation methods. A hybrid working model is possible, with opportunities for advanced upskilling and career development.

Formación

• Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of Fatigue and Damage Tolerance (FDT) experience.
• Excellent communication and proactive work style.
• Advanced English and Spanish; French is a plus.
• Knowledge of Airbus calculation methods and tools; ability to navigate digital tools.

Responsabilidades

• Analyse and validate metallic and composite structures for FDT.
• Write and check stress dossiers, justification reports, and test programs.
• Define justification approaches and coordinate with Technical Authority.
• Support manufacturing by addressing non-conformities on structural elements.
• Collaborate with design engineers and liaise with stakeholders and authorities.
