The ideal candidate has 7+ years in accounting/finance, SAP/Oracle proficiency, strong Excel skills, and a proven ability to lead distributed teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in accounting/finance, with controller or senior accounting management experience.
• Experience with Spanish GAAP and IFRS.
• SAP/Oracle proficiency and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong leadership, communication and analytical abilities.
• Experience in fully remote environments with distributed teams.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting/Finance; CPA/ACCA preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations: AP, AR, GL and payroll.
• Ensure monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements per Spanish GAAP and IFRS.
• Develop policies to strengthen internal controls and efficiency.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Mentor the accounting team and support external audits.
