NVIDIA and Deutsche Telekom are jointly developing the world's first industrial AI cloud for European manufacturers. The Expert DevOps Engineer provides consultation for DevOps culture and technologies, prototypes automation concepts, and drives CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code across the platform.

Strong Kubernetes, scripting, automation, and communication skills are required to support AI Cloud platform development in a global, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Kubernetes and containerization knowledge.
• Proficient in scripting with Python/Bash.
• Experience with automation deployments (Ansible / Salt/ Terraform / Helm).
• CI/CD in Kubernetes environments and repo management.
• GitHub/GitLab integration and CI/CD tooling experience.
• Linux OS expertise, monitoring with Grafana/Prometheus.

This AI factory in Germany will host 10,000 GPUs across NVIDIA DGX B200 systems and RTX Pro Servers. Deutsche Telekom provides secure, sovereign and fast infrastructure, including data centers, operations, security, and AI solutions.

Your Task

NVIDIA and Deutsche Telekom are jointly developing the world's first industrial AI cloud for European manufacturers. This AI factory in Germany will host 10,000 GPUs across NVIDIA DGX B200 systems and RTX Pro Servers. Deutsche Telekom provides secure, sovereign and fast infrastructure, including data centers, operations, security, and AI solutions. The Expert DevOps Engineer provides consultation of functional organization to implement DevOps principles in term of culture and technologies. The holder of the position prepares prototypes and concepts for further automation of assigned technology, driving continuous improvement. The DevOps Engineer is responsible for entire lifecycle of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines and Infrastructure as Code approaches.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement and support ICT components and applications in order to deliver quality standard product portfolio on AI Cloud platform
• Develop concepts, processes and methods for automation, optimization, and standardization to satisfy efficiency and automation requirements
• Consult and provide project deliverables to fulfill the project scope
• Own responsibility for maintenance and support of enhancement of the Product pipelines with further levels of value chain, connecting pipeline to different platforms and infrastructures, integration of different platforms and infrastructures into the pipeline, root-cause analysis of pipeline runtime errors
• Develop and implement architecture of services based on AI Cloud platform requirements
• Solve and coordinate activities across related technologies and outside own team
• Setup and manage integration with partner applications

Your Profile

We are looking for an Expert DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes, automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills to support AI Cloud platform development.

Must Have Skills

• Good knowledge of Kubernetes container-based technologies
• Experience with scripting languages (Python/Bash)
• Experience with Automation tools and automation deployments (Ansible / Salt-stack / Terraform / Helm)
• Experience with CI/CD in a Kubernetes environment and repository management
• Knowledge of automation with Git (GitHub, GitLab) and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD
• Experience with Linux OS
• Experience with monitoring and visualization tools (Grafana, Prometheus)
• English language proficiency at B2 level
• Good communication skills
• Analytical thinking
