MediaMarkt España in Barcelona seeks an experienced Frontend Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React and TypeScript. You will work with product, design, and backend teams to deliver high-performing, accessible user interfaces across global experiences.

The role emphasizes performance optimization, testing strategies, and API integration (GraphQL/REST), with opportunities to mentor others and shape frontend architecture.

Formación

• 5–8 years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Strong expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript, with deep experience in React
• Proven experience building scalable and maintainable frontend applications in production environments
• Solid understanding of web performance, accessibility, and responsive design principles
• Hands-on experience with testing strategies and tools (e.g., React Testing Library, Playwright)
• Experience integrating APIs, ideally with GraphQL and/or REST
• Practical experience using AI and agent systems
• Ability to take ownership of features from concept to delivery
• Structured and analytical way of working with strong problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Experience mentoring other engineers and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
• Fluency in English

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React and TypeScript
