Intertek is seeking an experienced Expeditor for a major LNG/Oil & Gas project based in Tarragona, Spain. The role focuses on expediting procurement and manufacturing of critical equipment to meet schedules, quality, and contractual commitments.

You will work with procurement, engineering, quality, logistics and project teams, travel 25% in Europe, and ensure supplier milestones and shipment dates are met with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.

Formación

• Experience as Expeditor in industrial projects.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical or EPC projects.
• Understanding of procurement, manufacturing and supply chain processes.
• Experience working with international suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ability to follow technical and contractual documentation.
• Good level of English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel occasionally to supplier/manufacturer facilities.
• Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and results-driven.
• Eligible to work in Spain and travel across the EU.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor manufacturing progress and delivery schedules for critical equipment and materials.
• Follow up on purchase orders, milestones, inspections and shipment dates.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Logistics and Project Management teams.
• Identify potential delays and supply chain risks; implement timely corrective actions.
• Attend supplier progress meetings and prepare regular expediting reports.
• Follow up on technical documentation, certificates and shipment documentation.
• Support supplier visits and manufacturing inspections when required.
• Maintain accurate expediting records and reporting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and expediting the procurement and manufacturing process of critical equipment and materials, ensuring that suppliers meet project schedules, quality requirements, and contractual commitments.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor manufacturing progress and delivery schedules for critical equipment and materials.
• Follow up on purchase orders, manufacturing milestones, inspections, and shipment dates.
• Coordinate closely with suppliers, subcontractors, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Project Management teams.
• Identify potential delays and supply chain risks and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Attend supplier progress meetings and prepare regular expediting reports.
• Follow up on technical documentation, certificates, and documentation required for shipment.
• Support supplier visits and manufacturing inspections when required.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project expediting records and reporting.

• Previous experience as anExpeditor / Procurement Expeditorin industrial projects.
• Experience inOil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, Energy, or major EPC projects.
• Good understanding of procurement, manufacturing, and supply chain processes.
• Experience working with international suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ability to understand and follow up on technical and contractual documentation.
• Good level of English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to supplier/manufacturer facilities.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-oriented approach.
• Eligibility to work in Spain and travel throughout the European Union.

Travel Requirement:

Approximately 25% within Europe, primarily Germany
