Job summary

Coty Global Hub Supply Chain in Barcelona seeks an EXO Packaging Intern for a 6-month program starting in October/November. You will join the Color Cosmetic Team to support technical tasks, learn end-to-end development, and collaborate with suppliers.

As EXO Packaging Trainee, you will assist packaging technicians, coordinate projects, maintain specs, learn SAP RD and ESKO, and develop in a fast-paced, multinational beauty environment.

Qualifications

• Ongoing Packaging, Engineering, or Design degree required.
• Knowledge of packaging components/materials and production processes.
• Fluent English communication is essential.
• Advanced Excel skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Support Packaging technicians and advise the marketing teams.
• Understand the E2E development process of Color Cosmetics and other categories.
• Coordinate projects with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Assist in development stages using the packaging test methods and FG requirements.
• Maintain specifications and Supply chain data (weights, dimensions, data enrichment).
• Learn packaging regulations, sustainability, and logistics data.

The Role

An Intern packaging developer will be part of Color Cosmetic Team to support on all technical tasks and processes, and in parallel enlarge their technical skills in other categories in our Area.

Responsibilities

• Support Packaging technicians and advise the marketing teams.

• To know and understand the E2E development process of the Color Cosmetics and all categories.

• Help the team with technical coordination of projects with the various suppliers and subcontractors.

• Support in carrying out the tasks required in the different stages of the development process applying the test method of this packaging and for the FGs (as applicable).

• Support on the maintenance of specifications and Supply chain and Master data (Weight and Dimensions, Tertiary development, Data enrichment…)

• Understand, learn and contribute in all legal aspects of packaging Regulation, sustainability, logistics data, VOID, etc…

Main tasks

• Participate/animate in weekly review meetings for brands in her/his scope.

• Help with component or technical specification drawings validation

• Learn and understand artwork process and support on provide/enter the required information in ESKO.

• Support with validation artworks in ESKO and suppliers’ bromides according on technical/legal criteria.

• Edit/approve specifications in SAP RD.

• Perform validation/approval tests during development process and report them to her/his manager

• Fill in/maintain the technical files/trackers.

• Transmit technical agreements to suppliers.

• Collect/claim the elements/benches validated by Marketing.

• Ongoing Packaging, Engineering, or Design degree.

• Knowledge in Packaging, components/materials and production processes.

• Fluent English

• Advanced in Excel
