Renrui Hr is seeking a Vehicle Security Operations Engineer for an automotive OEM in Europe, based in Bilbao, Spain. The role covers local cybersecurity operations for connected vehicles, cloud platforms and backend services across Europe, monitoring and investigating security events and coordinating with global teams to ensure incidents are handled effectively.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in cybersecurity operations, SOC, incident response or related area.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, IDS or other security-monitoring platforms.
• Experience in security alert analysis, incident investigation, vulnerability analysis, threat hunting or response playbooks.

Responsabilidades

• Perform cybersecurity monitoring and security operations for Europe.
• Monitor abnormal cybersecurity behaviours, attack patterns and potential threats.
• Triage alerts, investigate incidents, conduct root-cause analysis and drive closure.
• Develop, maintain and optimize SIEM/IDS detection rules and use cases.
• Improve VSOC detection coverage, playbooks and security automation.
• Support threat hunting, vulnerability analysis and continuous monitoring improvements.
• Establish local processes and reporting for European vehicle cybersecurity operations.
• Ensure secure operation of connected vehicle services in line with ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE R155/R156, GDPR.
• Collaborate with HQ, European teams and external partners.
• Prepare incident reports and technical analyses.
