Qualifications

• Experience leading clinical safety or risk management teams.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and develop direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop members of the EU safety team through day-to-day people management, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Oversee direct reports, ensuring quality of work, utilization, delivery, and professional growth.
• Conduct evaluations, objective setting, and follow-up on development plans across the team.
• Provide strategic and operational oversight for selected lower-complexity studies while staying connected to delivery needs.
• Partner with senior safety leadership to monitor workload, billability, and resourcing needs.
• Participate in Global Operational Leadership Team discussions and contribute to broader operational decisions.
• Support bidding activities with input and operational perspective when needed.
• Support onboarding and readiness of safety staff as the European group grows.
• Maintain visibility into team performance and process execution to align priorities with expectations.
• Step in with hands-on support when clinical or safety context is required to guide decisions.
