Job summary

Worley Consulting, the consulting business line of Worley, is expanding its Power and New Energy practice across Europe. The Renewable Energy Engineer will work on BESS and Solar PV projects, supporting feasibility, owner's engineering, and due diligence tasks while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a multicultural, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Several years of experience in renewable energy projects.

• Conceptual design of utility-scale BESS and Solar PV projects.
• Development of Basis of Design documents.
• Technical due diligence assignments for renewable energy projects.
• Review of EPC contractor and OEM technical documentation.

Position Overview

Worley Consulting is seeking a Renewable Energy Engineer (European based) with several years of professional experience to join our Power and New Energy business.

(Europe) Technical Consultant - BESS & Power

The successful candidate will support the delivery of technical consulting services focused on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Solar PV projects across Europe, the Middle East and other international markets. Experience in wind power projects is considered an advantage. Working alongside experienced consultants and subject matter experts, the candidate will contribute to feasibility studies, conceptual design activities, owner's engineering assignments, technical due diligence projects and engineering support services throughout the project development lifecycle.

• Fluent English (written and spoken) is essential. Proficiency in additional languages, particularly Arabic, Spanish, German, or Dutch, would be considered an advantage.
• Good organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities across different projects in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to take initiative, seek feedback, and continuously improve both technical and professional capabilities.
