Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Sevilla is seeking a Supply Chain and Quality Manager (SCQM) to lead end-to-end supply chain operations and quality for key programs. You will represent procurement in audits, deploy APQP, and drive improvements across suppliers in collaboration with multi-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has an engineering degree, fluent English and Spanish, and at least 3 years of experience in supply chain quality, with a rigorous and proactive mindset and strong

Responsibilities

• Represent Airbus DS in front of suppliers.
• Ensure the Industrial Maturity and Quality / Operational performance of Suppliers.
• Represent procurement organization in audits and assessments.
• Lead deployment of Quality and Supply Chain requirements in suppliers and for ADS programs.
• Lead Call For Tender from Operational and Quality points of view.
• Lead New Products Introduction, Transfer of Work, Industrial Changes, Modifications, Assessments.
• APQP deployment in suppliers.
• Risk & Opportunities Management.
• Management of Quality Escapes and non-conformities with internal/external stakeholders.
• Root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.

Job Description

A position as a Supply Chain and Quality Manager (SCQM) has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Tablada (Sevilla). The successful applicant will join the Supply Chain and Quality department in the Composite and Metallic Detail Parts team as part of the Procurement Organization.

Mission

The SCQM Leads the End-to-End Supply Chain Operations and Quality Management and acts as Supply Chain Industrial, Operations and Quality leader for all the suppliers under the applicable scope. The mission is applicable to all Programs: A400M, MRTT, L&M, EFA, Aerostructures and any new developments such as Eurodrone.

Responsibilities

Represent Airbus Defence and Space in front of Suppliers
Ensure the Industrial Maturity and Quality / Operational performance of Suppliers.
Represent procurement organization in the associated Multi-Functional Team and in front of Authorities during Audits and Assessments.
Lead the deployment of Airbus DS Quality and Supply Chain requirements in suppliers and for the main ADS programs.
The SCQM is in charge and/or participates in:
- Call For Tender process from the Operational and Quality points of view.
- New Products Introduction, Transfer of Work, Industrial Changes, Modifications, Assessments
- APQP deployment in suppliers
- Risk & Opportunities Management
- Management of Quality Escapes and all type of non-conformities, leading all the associated activities with internal and external stakeholders
- Leading the root case analysis and associated actions plans from both a corrective and preventative point of view.

Qualifications and Certifications

First Article Inspection Supplier Performance & Surveillance Deployment of Procurement Tools in the supplier

Skills

• Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in engineering or a related discipline.
• Negotiation level communication skills in English and Spanish is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Quality or/and in Supply Chain
• Rigorous, autonomous, customer-oriented mind-set and ability to prioritise workload.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication, multi-functional team-working, flexibility, proactive behavior.
