Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU is seeking a professional systems engineer to lead integration of Audio/Voice Communication systems for the EURODRONE program. You will define requirements, participate in design reviews and support certification by adhering to airworthiness standards.

The role requires deep MBSE expertise, DOORS and CAMEO proficiency, and strong English communication. Hybrid work and global collaboration options are available within the Aerospace sector.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in systems engineering/development for military aircraft.
• Deep knowledge of system engineering, integration, and airworthiness.
• Experience with DOORS, CAMEO, MBSE tools and Matlab/Simulink.

Responsibilities

• Lead audio/communication system integration activities for EURODRONE.
• Prepare test requirements for lab, ground and flight tests.
• Elaborate and validate equipment specifications and MBSE artifacts.
• Support design reviews and certification processes.
• Ensure compliance with ICAO/FAA/EASA standards and AIRBUS DS procedures.

Job Description:

Task & Accountabilities.

• Be responsible of Audio Communication systems integration activities (Audio/Voice Communication System) for EURODRONE
• Support feasibility studies for new products/user needs, etc.
• Elaborate and validate equipment specifications based on RBE (Requirement Based Engineering) or MBSE (Model Based System Engineering).
• Allocate these requirements to the Communication & Avionics System.
• Elaborate engineering design documentation.
• Prepare Test Requirement for Lab, Ground and Flight.
• Release test analysis & correlation reports after test completion.Integration, validation, and verification of systems.

Support the whole design process including design review meetings (internal, supplier and customer milestones).

• Certification and Qualification process.
• Support Technical Publications (AFM, FCOM, etc.).
• Support transversal areas such as Services, Production, Procurement, etc.
• Be at the state of the art of international regulations: ICAO, FAA, EASA, EUROCONTROL, etc.

Required skills

• Telecommunications/Aeronautical Engineering Master Degree,
• More than 5 years of experience in systems engineering/development for military aircraft in Aeronautical sector. (Audio & COMSEC communication system as a plus).
• Deep Knowledge on; System Engineering & Integration, SW specification, Verification & Validation, Airworthiness and Audio Technology domain,
• More than 3 years system knowledge: Audio and full chain Communication systems in different Aircrafts (Military, Combat),
• Experience in Modification Processes and Certification.
• Systems requirement definition using DOORS and CAMEO.
• Experience as CVE, even in a different discipline,
• Use of Agile Methodology (SCRUM, Jira, Confluence, DeMAT) and Plateau attendance way of working experience,
• Strong English skills, both verbal and written.
• MBSE using tools as CAMEO, ICDMS, Matlab/Simulink and Stakeflow,
• Knowledge of AIRBUS D&S Design Procedures for EURODRONE Program and others.
• Digitalization skills for System design activities.
• Problem solving and decision making.
