Job summary

Finom, a European fintech, is seeking a Treasury Operations and Reconciliations Manager to run daily money movements across SEPA, instant payments, cards and international transfers. You will be hands-on, design money flows with product and engineering, and ensure all settlements are funded, reconciled and safeguarded.

You will lead a small team, handle escalation, implement automated processes, and improve controls as Finom scales toward a banking license.

Qualifications

• Experience in treasury operations or reconciliation at an e-money institution, payment institution, or bank.
• Builder's mindset: turning manual work into automated, documented processes with engineers.
• Strong escalation skills handling payment incidents with banks and schemes.
• Hands-on knowledge of payment rails such as SEPA, SWIFT and card schemes.
• Fluent English with clear communication and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Settlement and reconciliation day to day to ensure euro cash is where it should be.
• Oversee treasury operations: funding channels and settlement models.
• Maintain safeguarding and regulatory reporting accuracy.
• Funds-flow engineering for new products and markets.
• Escalation point to resolve money-movement issues quickly.
• Document processes and automate manual work with engineering.
