Giesecke+Devrient (G+D) in Sant Joan Despí, Spain, is seeking an eSIM & Solutions Portfolio Manager to shape our digital offerings. You will define strategy, steer governance and drive commercial success across SIM management, eSIM/IoT, and cloud services.

Leveraging 7+ years in product or portfolio leadership, you will collaborate with Product Managers, Sales and IT, align investments with business goals, and advance cloud-based SaaS initiatives while balancing growth, profitability and risk.

Role Overview

Join our international eSIM & Solutions team and drive the strategic evolution of a leading portfolio of digital products and cloud-based services. As an eSIM & Solutions Portfolio Manager, you will steer the strategic direction, governance and commercial success of a portfolio of digital offerings spanning service in SIM & device management, eSIM Management (consumer, IOT) and several new innovative Services. You are responsible for defining, steering and optimizing the overall digital solutions portfolio. You ensure investments are aligned with corporate strategy, customer demand and market opportunities while maintaining a balanced portfolio across growth, innovation and profitability objectives.

Your Responsibilities

Portfolio Strategy & Governance

• Define and execute the long-term portfolio strategy for eSIM and Digital Solutions offerings.
• Drive portfolio investment decisions based on business value, market attractiveness, customer demand and technical feasibility.
• Establish portfolio governance mechanisms and decision frameworks.
• Manage portfolio roadmaps across multiple products and solution domains.
• Perform regular portfolio reviews and prioritization processes.
• Monitor portfolio performance through KPIs, business outcomes and financial metrics.

Digital Offering Management

• Drive the creation and evolution of cloud- and SaaS-based offerings.
• Ensure a clear customer value proposition and competitive differentiation for all portfolio offerings.
• Identify emerging market opportunities and technology trends within telecommunications, IoT, enterprise and digital services.
• Define commercial models and pricing approaches for digital services.
• Coordinate offering harmonization across regions and business units.

Product & Business Strategy

• Translate corporate objectives into actionable product and portfolio strategies.
• Align and steer business cases, market assessments and investment recommendations.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to ensure alignment between product roadmaps and portfolio objectives.
• Drive portfolio rationalization, simplification and lifecycle management initiatives.

Cloud Transformation

• Support the transition of existing solutions toward cloud architectures.
• Collaborate with cloud stakeholders on cloud transformation initiatives.
• Promote SaaS, multi-tenant and platform thinking within the organization.
• Ensure product and portfolio decisions consider scalability, security, operational efficiency and cloud economics.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as a interface between Portfolio Management, Product Management, Sales and Marketing.
• Define portfolio strategies and business recommendations.
• Engage directly with strategic customers and industry partners.

Your Profile

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Product Management, Portfolio Management, Strategy or Business Leadership roles.
• Strong experience managing B2B software and SaaS product portfolios.
• Experience in Telecommunications, Connectivity, eSIM, IoT, Cloud Services or Digital Platforms.
• Proven track record in portfolio strategy development and execution.
• Experience working in agile product organizations.

Technical Expertise

• Practical experience with AWS cloud services and cloud operating models.
• Good understanding of cloud-architectures, microservices, APIs, Kubernetes and SaaS platforms.
• Familiarity with digital platform business models and subscription-based services.
• Experience and ability to leverage AI based tooling for products and within portfolio Management work
• Understanding of eSIM ecosystems, Remote SIM Provisioning, Subscription Management and connectivity services is highly desirable.
• Experience working with enterprise product management tools such as Aha!, Jira, Confluence and related portfolio management solutions.

Business & Leadership Skills

• Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to balance customer needs, technical constraints and commercial objectives.
• Strong financial acumen including business case development, ROI validation and portfolio investment management.
• Experience presenting at executive and board-level discussions.

Education & Languages

• Master's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications or a related field.
• Fluent English, written and spoken. German is an advantage.
