Verisure is seeking a motivated ESG Strategy Intern to support Life Cycle Assessment modelling and sustainability initiatives within its Technology ecosystem.

You will work with R&D, Procurement, and suppliers to build robust LCIs, model environmental impacts, and provide actionable insights across products in an international environment.

Formación

• Final year or Master’s student in Engineering with interest in sustainability and materials.
• Basic understanding of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology (ISO 14040/44).
• Exposure to LCA tools/software is a strong plus.
• Ability to work with data (Excel required).
• Strong analytical and structured thinking with cross-team collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Support collection, structuring, and validation of Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) data with R&D, Procurement and external suppliers.
• Assist in modelling LCAs using specialised software (SimaPro, GaBi, OpenLCA or equivalent).
• Translate product architecture into LCA models and identify hotspots in environmental impacts.
• Interpret LCA results and communicate insights to internal teams and suppliers.
• Engage with suppliers to collect technical and environmental data for lifecycle modelling.
• Collaborate with R&D to translate product architecture into LCA models.
• Support integration of sustainability considerations into product development processes.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate LCA insights.
• Ensure data traceability, consistency and methodological robustness.

The Compliance & ESG Strategy team plays a key role in embedding sustainability and regulatory compliance intoVerisure’sTechnology ecosystem.

We are looking for a motivated and analytically strong intern to support Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) modelling and product sustainability initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in applying environmental methodologies to real technology products, working closely with R&D, Procurement, and suppliers.

You will contribute to building robust Life Cycle Inventories (LCI), modelling environmental impacts using specialised LCA software, and supporting decision‑making by providing actionable sustainability insights across our product portfolio.

MainResponsibilities

• Support the collection, structuring, and validation of Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) data in collaboration with R&D, Procurement, and external suppliers

• Assistin the modelling of LCAs usingspecialisedsoftware (e.g.SimaPro,GaBi,OpenLCAor equivalent)

• Understand product architectureand translate into LCA models

• Contribute to the interpretation of LCA results,identifyingenvironmental hotspots and improvement opportunities

• Engage with suppliers to collect technical and environmental datarequiredfor lifecycle modelling

• Work with R&D teams to understand product architecture (components, materials, electronics) and translate it into LCA models

• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate sustainability considerations into product development processes

• Support the preparation of reports and presentations to communicate LCA insights

• Ensure data traceability, consistency, and methodological robustness

Experiences & Qualifications

• Final year orMaster’sstudent in one of the following fields:

• Electronic Engineering / Product Design Engineering (with interest in sustainability and materials)

• Industrial/Environmental Engineering

• Chemical Engineering

• Basic understanding of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)methodology(ISO 14040/44)

• Exposure (academic or internship) to LCA tools/software is a strong plus

• Strong analytical skills and structured thinking

• Ability to work with data (Excelrequired)

• High levelof proactivity and ability to work across teams

• Strong communicationskills (supplier interaction is part of the role)

• Fluent in English
