Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe, Madrid, is seeking an ERP Project Manager for Material Services to lead end-to-end ERP digital transformation initiatives. You will bridge business processes with SAP solutions, coordinate IT, logistics and operations, and drive the ERP roadmap for Services while aligning with customer contract management needs.

The role requires university-level education in engineering or related fields, strong project leadership, and excellent English communication.

• Proven experience leading ERP-related digital projects as Project Manager or MFT Lead.
• Strong project management skills with focus on quality, planning and delivery.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management across multifunctional teams.
• Advanced verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead ERP and digital transformation projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery against scope and objectives.
• Define and manage the ERP Roadmap Functional Design for Services, translating requirements into needs.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams with IT, Logistics, Operations, Finance and other leads.
• Act as focal point for Services regarding strategy, roadmap, planning and status to senior management.
• Oversee ERP integration and process optimization, aligning SAP modules with business processes and IT solutions.
• Represent Services in Landscape Change Boards to ensure ERP alignment with processes and customer contracts.

Job Description:

Introduction

An opportunity for an ERP Project Manager - Material Services has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid) .

Brief description of the department’s mission

The selected candidate will join the Material Services (TASM) Team , contributing to the digital transformation of the Services organization.

The team works in a multifunctional and interdisciplinary environment, collaborating closely with IT, Logistics, Operations, Finance and other business functions.

The jobholder will lead ERP-related digital transformation initiatives, acting as a bridge between business processes and IT solutions. The role will contribute to the definition and implementation of the ERP roadmap for Services, ensuring that Material Services requirements are properly addressed across the different workstreams and that digital solutions support operational, logistics and customer contract management needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The main tasks of the jobholder will be:

• Lead ERP and digital transformation projects throughout their end-to-end lifecycle, ensuring delivery according to agreed scope, planning, quality standards and business objectives.
• Define and manage the ERP Roadmap Functional Design for Services , translating Material Services business and logistics requirements into functional and technical needs.
• Coordinate multifunctional and interdisciplinary teams , working closely with IT, Logistics, Operations, Finance and other MFT Leads to ensure that Services requirements are properly covered across the different project workstreams.
• Act as the focal point for Services regarding project strategy, objectives, roadmap, planning and status, providing clear visibility and delivering effective presentations to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Oversee ERP integration and process optimization , ensuring effective interaction between SAP functional modules and alignment with Material Services processes, IT solutions and the wider digital ecosystem.
• Represent Services in relevant Landscape Change Boards when required , ensuring that ERP and digital solutions are aligned with internal Material Services processes and customer contract management requirements.

SKILLS

Is your profile aligned to the following list of skills?

• Education: University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Experience: Proven experience leading ERP-related digital projects as Project Manager, MFT Lead or in a similar role. Previous professional experience within Material Services (TASM) environments is highly valuable.
• Project Management: Strong ability to manage complex projects, with a focus on quality, methodology, planning and delivery.
• Leadership and soft skills: Demonstrated ability to coordinate and motivate multifunctional and interdisciplinary teams, manage diverse stakeholder interests, quickly understand new processes and translate business needs into actionable project plans.
• Communication: Advanced verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex business and technical topics clearly and present effectively to senior management and non-technical stakeholders.
• Technical knowledge: High-level knowledge of ERP functionalities and the interaction between different functional modules within SAP . Strong understanding of logistics and material processes, Material Services business processes, customer contract management and Material Services-specific IT solutions and digital ecosystems.
• Languages: Advanced level of English.
• Valuable / Nice to have: PMP certification and/or experience or certification in Agile/Scrum methodologies .
