Job summary

Emerus in Zarzamora is seeking a licensed vocational nurse (LVN/LPN) to provide safe, compassionate care under the direct supervision of an RN, with focus on patients with predictable health care needs.

The LVN will perform focused assessments, administer medications, document care, and collaborate with the care team while maintaining infection control and patient privacy. Previous ED or urgent care experience is required, and English fluency is necessary.

Qualifications

• Two years of LVN/LPN experience in Emergency Department or similar setting.
• Current LVN/LPN license in the state where you practice.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Pedagogy IV Certification must be completed within 30 days of hire.
• Fluency in English; written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, compassionate nursing care to assigned patients as directed by the RN and care plan.
• Performs focused patient assessments in accordance with policies.
• Administers medications per organization’s policies.
• Completes accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Maintains infection control, patient privacy, and safe work environment.
