Banco Santander SA is seeking an Equity Research Analyst in the Consumer sector based out of Madrid. You will cover European consumer companies, building detailed models and producing independent research to inform institutional investors.

The role demands strong analytical and time-management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and deliver timely insights. The team emphasizes innovation, collaboration, and the use of cutting-edge technology.

Formación

• 3-7 years of relevant experience as an equity analyst or similar role.
• Graduate degree in Economics, business administration or engineering.
• English fluent, both written and spoken.
• Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Bloomberg, FactSet and other markets’ applications.
• Proficient communication in English and Spanish; Team Player.

Santander Corporate & Investment Banking is looking for an Equity Research Analyst based out of Boadilla (Madrid). As an Equity Research Analyst you will cover European companies in the Consumer sector. Strong analytical and commercial skills are required to provide investment ideas to institutional investors. As any other job in markets, it requires ability to work effectively under pressure and excellent time to market. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:

Professional Experience 3-7 years of relevant experience as an equity analyst or similar role Education Graduate degree in Economics, business administration or engineering. Languages English- absolutely fluent, both written and spoken (the working language is English) Hard Skills Mastering the most common office applications: Excel, Word, Powerpoint. Good knowledge of Bloomberg, FactSet and other markets’ applications Mastering the main AI platfor Soft Skills Proficient communication skills in English and Spanish Personable Team Player
