Are you passionate about working with horses and supporting people in a healthcare and social support setting? An open position is currently available for an Equine-Assisted Intervention Guide based in Marratxí, Mallorca. In this specialized role, you will be a key contributor to therapeutic and educational sessions, working on-site to ensure the safety, well-being, and proper handling of the horses. You will operate directly alongside therapists and multidisciplinary teams within the private health and healthcare sector on the island.

In your daily work as an equine-assisted guide, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing each horse thoroughly prior to therapeutic sessions, ensuring they are calm, equipped, and ready.
• Guiding the horse safely, attentively, and appropriately alongside the therapist during assisted interventions.
• Collaborating seamlessly with therapists, educators, and other social and healthcare professionals throughout each session.
• Carrying out the regular care, routine upkeep, and maintenance of all equestrian and therapeutic equipment.

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet specific mandatory requirements:

• An official qualification in the fields of health, education, or social services.
• Demonstrated equestrian knowledge and solid practical experience in horse handling.
