Job summary

Worley is seeking an experienced Associate Environmental Consultant, Hydrogeologist to join our Madrid team. You will provide technical leadership on complex groundwater sites, oversee modelling and risk assessments, and contribute to projects across energy and resources sectors.

The role combines field insight with data-driven analysis and client engagement. You will work under supervision to deliver high-quality reports, develop conceptual site models, mentor junior staff, and support business

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science required. Master of Science in Geology or Hydrogeology.
Experience with groundwater modelling and groundwater assessment.
Proficiency with groundwater modelling software: Groundwater Vistas, MODFLOW, MODPATH, MT3D, FEFLOW.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership on site assessment and remediation as hydrogeologist.
Oversee groundwater resources, chemical hydrogeology, remediation and modelling.
Lead numerical groundwater modelling (flow and transport).
Review work plans and data analyses for soil and groundwater.
Develop/conduct Tier 1–3 risk assessments and sensitivity analyses.
Prepare and review technical reports to high quality standards.
Engage with contractors, clients and authorities.
Manage project resources, schedule, budget, and quality; support business development.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to team.
