Job summary

Hiredbuddy is seeking an entry-level User Experience Designer to join our remote-first product team. You will work alongside senior designers, product managers, and engineers to craft intuitive experiences for our web and mobile applications.

You will own design tasks from research to implementation, learning best practices and contributing to a product that impacts thousands of users daily. As an early-career designer, you will be supported by a structured mentorship program and clear growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, HCI, Graphic Design or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 0–2 years of UX or product design experience (internships and academic projects count).
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand user needs and business goals.
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma.
• Conduct user research (interviews, surveys, usability tests) and synthesize findings into actionable insights.
• Participate in design reviews and iterate based on feedback from stakeholders and users.
• Contribute to and maintain our design system, ensuring consistency across all product surfaces.
• Assist in analyzing user analytics and A/B test results to inform design decisions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging design tools.
• Document design decisions and rationale for future reference.
• Ensure all designs are accessible and inclusive, following WCAG guidelines.
