Job summary

IBM Consulting Madrid is seeking a Platform Technical Architect to design viable client solutions using current product capabilities and contribute insights to product teams.

You will maintain deep platform knowledge, build use cases to drive sales, and lead technical direction with a hands-on, experiential selling approach, fluent in English and Spanish.

Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Platform Technical Architect, you will leverage extensive technical knowledge to design viable client solutions and provide input to product teams for solutions refinement.

You will maintain strong platform and product knowledge to articulate the value proposition and construct relevant use cases to drive sales.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Design Client Solutions: Design viable client solutions by leveraging current product capabilities, providing input to product teams for solutions refinement, and maintaining strong platform and product knowledge.


• Deliver Technical Proof Points: Create and deliver technical proof points through technical accelerators, including demonstrations, POTs, POCs, Workshops, Solution Design, and MVPs.


• Articulate Value Proposition: Articulate the value proposition and ROI, understand the competitive landscape, and construct relevant use cases to drive sales.


• Maintain Platform Knowledge: Maintain strong platform and product knowledge to support solution design and delivery.


• Drive Sales: Construct relevant use cases to drive sales and support business growth.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Extensive Technical Knowledge: Deep expertise in Automation, Data, or zStack platforms, with the ability to design viable client solutions and provide input to product teams for solutions refinement.


• Platform and Product Expertise: Experience with maintaining strong platform and product knowledge to articulate the value proposition, understand the competitive landscape, and construct relevant use cases to drive sales.


• Technical Accelerators: Experience in creating and delivering technical proof points through technical accelerators, including demonstrations, POTs, POCs, Workshops, Solution Design, and MVPs.


• Solution Design and Delivery: Experience in designing and delivering customized solutions, with a focus on experiential selling and hands-on practice.


• Technical Leadership: Experience in driving technical direction and providing input to product teams to refine solutions and drive business growth.


• English and Spanish fluent level.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Customized Experiential Selling: Experience with customized experiential selling, focusing on hands-on practice and a \"show me, don't tell me\" approach, is beneficial for this role.
