Jobtailor in Barcelona, Spain, is seeking a robotics software engineer to design and implement perception and autonomy for industrial quadruped platforms. You will contribute to sensor integration, data processing pipelines, and cloud/edge delivery architectures, delivering robust, production-grade code.

The role requires strong C++/Python skills, ROS2 expertise, and experience with SLAM, motion planning, and cross-site collaboration with Zurich headquarters to localize, test, and scale robotic

Formación

• Degree in robotics, CS, EE/ME or related technical field
• Proficient production-grade C++ and Python
• RO S2 experience for developing and deploying modular software
• Sensor integration and data processing pipelines or cloud/edge delivery architectures
• Experience with SLAM, motion planning, point cloud processing, or autonomous navigation state machines
• Proactive mindset and desire to solve real-world industrial challenges
• Excellent English communication for cross-site collaboration with Zurich

Requirements

• Degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
• Proficient, production-grade programming skills in C++ and Python
• Solid working experience with ROS2 for developing, debugging, and deploying modular software systems
• Experience with sensor integration (LiDAR, thermal, acoustic, optical), payload development, data processing pipelines, or cloud/edge delivery architectures
• Experience in SLAM, motion planning, point cloud processing, or autonomous navigation state machines
• Proactive mindset with a strong desire to solve real-world industrial challenges in an ambiguous, fast-scaling hub environment
• Excellent communication skills in English for seamless cross-site collaboration with Zurich
