Scopely is recruiting an Engineering Manager, Client (Unity) to lead a team in Barcelona on a hybrid schedule (3 days on-site). Visa sponsorship and relocation assistance are available as the project is in early stages.

You will guide engineers, design client features, and push for efficient workflows while collaborating with multiple stakeholders to deliver high-quality game client code.

Formación

• Must have led or managed a software engineering team.
• Experience on game client features or related areas.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum processes and stakeholder collaboration.
• Proficient in C# or C++ and working with game engines/clients.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage a team of engineers focused on game client development.
• Design and implement features for the game client in collaboration with stake-holders.
• Improve development processes, workflows, and tools to boost quality and throughput.
• Conduct code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing to build strong engineering culture.
• Coordinate with QA to fix bugs and deliver high-quality code.
• Ensure code quality and optimize performance for the game client.
• Evaluate technical solutions with stakeholders and implement best options.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance planning, coding, and reviews.
