DKB Code Factory in Valencia is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Business Banking Self Credit team. You will build and develop a high-performing full-stack engineering group, driving delivery excellence and technical innovation that directly impacts our Business Banking customers.

This role combines people leadership with technology strategy in a dynamic, agile environment, with accountability for roadmap, delivery health, and cross-functional collaboration with product and platform

Formación

• Proven experience leading software engineering teams in agile environments.
• Strong backend and mobile development background (Kotlin or SwiftUI preferred).
• Experience with API-driven systems and banking workflows.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality, predictable software and manage risks.
• Excellent coaching, performance management and talent development skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a full-stack development team (backend + mobile) to deliver quality software.
• Establish engineering standards, delivery processes and team health.
• Coach engineers through regular 1:1s, feedback and growth planning.
• Manage hiring, onboarding and ramp-up of new team members.

Join DKB Code Factory as an Engineering Manager leading the Business Banking Self Credit team. In this role, you will build and develop a high-performing full-stack engineering team, driving delivery excellence and technical innovation that directly impacts our Business Banking customers. This is a unique opportunity to own both people leadership and technology strategy in a dynamic, agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enable a full-stack development team (backend + mobile) to deliver high-quality, predictable software aligned with product and architectural goals.
• Establish and continuously improve engineering standards, delivery processes, and team health.
• Coach and develop engineers through regular 1:1s, feedback, and growth planning.
• Manage hiring, onboarding, and ramp-up of new team members to ensure smooth integration.
• Maintain and execute a 12-month technical roadmap in close collaboration with product, platform, and business stakeholders.
• Act as the primary owner of team execution health, risks, and dependencies.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and customer-centric innovation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading software engineering teams in agile, full-stack environments.
• Strong background in backend and or mobile development, preferably with Kotlin or SwiftUI.
• Experience with API-driven systems and backend banking workflows is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver predictable, high-quality software with effective risk and dependency management.
• Skilled in coaching, performance management, and developing engineering talent.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with tools and methodologies such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, Scrum, Kanban, Design Sprints, and User Story Mapping.
