Group-IPS is seeking an Engineering Coordinator to lead technical governance across multiple engineering disciplines within large-scale industrial projects in Spain. The role requires deep experience coordinating interfaces and ensuring design integrity from concept through detailed design, with collaboration across procurement and construction teams.

Ideal candidates bring a Master's in Engineering, 8+ years in multidisciplinary settings, and 10+ people management experience, including EPCM/EPC

Formación

• University degree in Engineering, preferably a Master's degree.
• Minimum 8 years of professional engineering experience, with significant exposure to multidisciplinary industrial projects.
• Ideally at least 3 years in a coordination or lead engineering role such as Engineering Coordinator or Lead Engineer.
• Experience with managing discipline engineers.
• Experience within an EPCM/EPC company; Life Sciences and Food Industries experience required (min 3 years).
• Experience across Concept, Basic Design, Detailed Design and support to Procurement/Construction.
• Demonstrated experience working with multiple engineering disciplines.
• At least 10 people management experience.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate multiple engineering disciplines: Process, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation, Civil/Structural, HVAC, Architecture, etc.
• Manage technical interfaces and battery limits between disciplines or packages.
• Coordinate engineering deliverable lists and schedules.
• Organize or participate in Design Reviews and interdisciplinary reviews.
• Coordinate layouts and/or 3D/BIM models and resolve clashes/interfaces.
• Manage vendor information and integration of vendor packages into the overall design.
• Manage technical queries, scope changes and multidisciplinary impacts.
• Interface with Procurement, Construction and/or Commissioning.
• Coordinate internal resources, external engineering companies/design offices and/or suppliers.
