Santander, Madrid-based, is seeking an M&A Associate (Energy) to drive execution across energy-focused M&A and equity-led processes from the Luca de Tena Office. You’ll lead complex financial models, manage due diligence, and coordinate with clients and advisors to deliver high‑quality materials.

You will work with senior bankers to shape origination angles, perform sector research on energy transition dynamics, and mentor junior staff while maintaining a rigorous, client-ready standard.

Formación

• Undergraduate degree with a strong academic track record.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; additional European languages preferred.
• Advanced financial modelling and valuation fundamentals; strong accounting knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Taking day-to-day ownership of execution workstreams across M&A and equity-led processes.
• Leading and reviewing complex financial models and valuation analyses; ensuring robust outputs.
• Owning valuation workstreams with DCF, comps, precedents; translating analysis into client messaging.
