Applus IDIADA is seeking an Emissions Certification Engineer - Homologation to join the team in a hybrid work environment. You will oversee certification of vehicles for powertrain emissions, fuel consumption, and engine power, coordinating witness tests and compiling official dossiers.

The ideal candidate holds a mechanical engineering degree, has at least one year of powertrain experience, and demonstrates strong planning and collaboration in a global automotive setting.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in powertrain development and/or testing
• Excellent planning and collaboration skills

Responsabilidades

• Witness official approval tests at the manufacturer's lab according to Idiada's procedures
• Prepare the related approval dossiers
• Manage delivery of the official approval certificates granted by Spanish authorities
• Deal with vehicle certification related to power-train requirements: exhaust emissions, fuel consumption, engine power

As Homologation Engineer the candidate will work in the Homologation team reporting directly to the Technical Leader of this Area.

Responsibilities:

To deal with the certification of the vehicle related to power-train requirements:

• Exhaust emissions.
• Fuel consumption.
• Engine power.

As Homologation Engineer she/he will be responsible to witness the official approval tests at the manufacturer's laboratory according to Idiada's procedures, to prepare the related approval dossiers and to manage the delivery of the official approval certificates granted by the Approval Authorities of Spain.

Profile:

• Good knowledge on emission regulations for passenger cars and approval of vehicles in general
• Minimum 1 year of experience in powertrain development and/or testing.
• Excellent planning & collaboration skills.

Education:

• Degree in mechanical engineering (or similar).

Languages:

• Good level of English.
• Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
