Syneos Health in Spain is seeking a Principal Statistician to support EMEA projects in sponsor-dedicated settings. The role leads statistical activities, mentors biostatisticians, and ensures high-quality analyses from protocol to CSR.

Applicants should hold a graduate degree in biostatistics or related discipline, with extensive clinical trial experience and strong R programming skills. Some travel may be required as part of this global team.

Formación

• Graduate degree in biostatistics or related discipline.
• Extensive experience in clinical trials or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in R programming.
• Ability to apply extensive knowledge of statistical design and regulatory guidelines.
• Experience across all statistical tasks from protocol to CSR.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsabilidades

• Serves as a statistical department resource, mentors biostatisticians on job skills and training plans.
• Directs activities of other biostatistics personnel on projects to ensure timely completion of high quality work.
• Provides support across all statistical tasks during the lifecycle of the project, from protocol to CSR.
• Prepares or oversees SAPs and mock-up displays for tables, listings, and figures.
• May lead statistical aspects of protocols and input to the CSR.
• Reviews programming specifications and study documentation to ensure data quality.
• Implements company objectives and addresses business and operational challenges.
• Interacts with project teams and contributes ideas in meetings.
• Conducts verification and quality control of project deliverables.
